Duresta

One of our favourites, Duresta are extremely well made robust and classically stylish soft furnishings. Contemporary in design, they are a modern classic that can be restored and redesigned many times.

We reupholstered this delightful Duresta chair in the customer’s own fabric from a village near Whitby.

Duresta | BJU are Duresta specialists. Repairs, restoration and reupholstery. We even re-sized a three-seater sofa to a two-seater sofa to fit perfectly into a bay window. Here is a recently completed reupholstered Duresta sofa reupholstered in a Ross flat weave fabric.

Nursing Chairs

You can design a super corner filler or occasional chair. You can design the style, fabric, and trim. Add a button back or plain, add a cushion or change the wood colour. Some completed upholstery examples are shown below.

A pair of rather nice club chairs we reupholstered.

Wood Frame Sofa

Exposed wood frames sofa with Bergere arms reupholstered in a Porter and Stone fabric which has become my favourite. The detailed stitching is a delight.
