Parker Knoll Chairs Reupholstered | One of Our Specialties At BJ Upholstery are Parker Knoll, we take pride in reupholstering Parker Knoll chairs, one of the brands we specialise in. We recently had the pleasure of working on a traditional pair of Parker Knoll wing-back chairs. The original upholstery was a classic green, but we’ve completed the first chair in a vibrant pink, giving it a fresh and modern look. We’re currently working on the second chair, which will be upholstered in a complementary green, offering a beautiful contrast to the first. We restored the wood legs and under-seat springing too.

We tend not to publish the “before” images often as they can make our website pages look a bit drab. However, I think this pair of Parker Knoll chairs made in 1950 justifies showing you what we can produce. Consider how much service this pair of chairs has given over the last 74 years. A 75-year-old Parker Knoll Chair | Awarded as a Retirement Chair at some time for services on the railways. Covered in a lovely Wool Tartan Moon Fabrics. We have reupholstered Parker Knoll chairs and sofas throughout our 30-year history. Note the red pins near the feet – it’s all about the detail.

We restored and re-varnished the frame in black then reupholstered in this amazing printed velvet. The chair has been shipped to London.

A Lovely Fireside Wingback chair

Parker Knoll made this style of chair famous. Wingback chairs have been made for hundreds of years – the wing to shelter you from draughts and to rest your head. Our customer selected a lovely wool mix plaid tartan and asked us to self pipe the edges.

It looks really elegant and styling, now updated and more fitting to a contemporary or traditional home.

A chair like this is a valuable asset to any family and it may live in a number of rooms in the future. Very lovely.
