Here is something a little different. We reupholstered a relatively recent Chesterfield sofa in a sunflower gold velour. The chesterfield was probably manufactured in the 1980s, so it’s not ancient like some we have restored. The dimensions are good, a deep seat and a slightly higher back. It was bespoke restored to go in our customers guest cottage/chill-out area at the home in the Cotswolds.

Our customer also ordered arm caps and scatter cushions.
How amazing does this nursing chair look? Reupholstered in a Linwood fabric called Omega. The fabric is a printed velvet that looks quite stunning and has a lovely silky feel. A one-off creation on a quality chair.
Local to us, we restored and reupholstered this pair of chairs in a Ross Aquaclean Fabric in grey tweed.
A pair of matching rotating tub chairs. The chairs rotate on a metal circular base. Really interesting contemporary chairs.
I recognised this sofa as soon as I saw it. Originally sold through Barker and Stonehouse furniture shop back in the 1980s. It’s a quality piece of classic furniture, basically a relaxed oversized Chesterfields sofa without the deep buttons. Originally retailed in a Kilim fabric that was slightly rough to the touch, a bit like a Kilim rug, they were super cool, stylish, massive and expensive.
We have reupholstered at least two in the last year, therefore, we know the quality of the frame. This example, our customer purchased for £50 🙂 Now it looks like a few thousand pounds. Stunning.
How lovely it was to come down this a.m and see her sitting in the place she had occupied since 1970. We are quite overwhelmed. An absolutely incredible transformation. Barry’s experience is second to none. The frame adjustments have given a new comfort and her new dress is stunning. Jo from our first meeting, I knew we were in good hands. Your warmth and lovely manner is very special. Thank you.

We were delighted to restore this contemporary Lounge Suite set for our customer. It had previously been re-upholstered by another company but our customer was never wholely pleased with it. It’s a very high-quality set therefore worth restoring again. The concern was, will it be right this time? Barry, our head upholsterer, stepped-in. He decided to redesign the reupholstery style based on the frame and his knowledge of this period brand. He bespoke tailor reupholstered the set based on the frame from scratch to restore it as the original. Our customer was delighted, relieved and pleasantly surprised. As we were too.
