All our fabrics are of first quality, meet current legislation and come with a guarantee. We are stockist of some of the most versatile quality fabrics available in the UK and we have worked with most for over 20 / 30 years., for example, Chatsworth Fabrics, Linwood Fabric, Porter and Stone and Ross Fabrics.
I really like this one, it’s a straight forward box footstool. Our customer made her own design by selecting a lovey wool plaid fabric and asking us to pipe the top in leather – a great idea that makes this piece just that little more interesting to look at and touch.
All our reupholstery is bespoke and it’s really delightful to see fresh ideas from our customers that we tailor to their requirements – I wish I could keep most of the pieces we produce 😐
Did you notice the Shepherds castors? If you don’t know Shepherds castors; they allow very smooth movement of furniture on the carpet. Perfect for a footstool to slide around as needed.
Upholstered in our customer’s own fabric.
I always have a footstool on my house. They make sitting and chatting with a cuppa really comfortable as you rest your feet and you can place the tea tray there too.
This example has a lift-lid to store games, magazines and any other clutter you may have to quickly clear the room – X-Box controllers mostly in my house:)
Designed by our customer in London this simple footstool has been made into a really interesting and unique footstool which I’m sure will be a great talking point.
Upholstered – in part – with an old potato sack. The sacking was quite stretchy so Barry lined the underside with an upholstery material and aded two panels each side to completely cover the footstool showing the potato sack set in the middle.
I thought this piece deserved three photos – we just love its clever idea/design and simplicity.
We recently restored an antique fireside chair in this leather hide. There was just enough leather to cover this footstool also. So here it is about completed waiting on the bench for the finishing touches of upholstery round headed pins in each corner. See the ‘Rolls Royce’ corner stitch in the detailed photo – Lovely!
