Here is something a little different. We reupholstered a relatively recent Chesterfield sofa in a sunflower gold velour. The chesterfield was probably manufactured in the 1980s, so it’s not ancient like some we have restored. The dimensions are good, a deep seat and a slightly higher back. It was bespoke restored to go in our customers guest cottage/chill-out area at the home in the Cotswolds.

A classicly shaped small turn of century armchair. Fully restored and upholstered in Linwood Omega patterned velvet. Selected by our client now safely delivered to their home in Darlington.
I have seen a number of this style of chairs in auction houses recently. They are usually in extremely bad condition, particularly the frame and springs. This example was in good order when we first started the restoration.
Bent out of shape, creaky, broken frames with popping-out springs etc can be restored – but best buy a structurally sturdy version. Cost at an auction is at an amazingly low price currently, £200- 500 each. Restored, an equivalent value will be in the region of £2000 – 5000 each. And totally unique.
This is a 50-year-old sofa and chair beloved by our customer. We restored and reupholstered in a very similar fabric as requested, a Chatsworth damask. The sofa and chair were located in Newcastle-upon-Tyne, as our customer was relocating to Pickering in North Yorkshire we delivered it there.
Here is another example of a completed reupholstery job. A neatly designed oak occasional chair with some wear and patina. We reupholstered as selected by our customer in a peach patterned linen with a coordinating braid.

Purchased from an auction this Victorian balloon back chair has been restored and reupholstered in Linwood Omega Prints. Bespoke designed by our customer, we think it looks amazing.

A 75-year-old Parker Knoll Chair | Awarded as a Retirement Chair at some time for services on the railways. Covered in a lovely Wool Tartan Moon Fabrics. We have reupholstered Parker Knoll chairs and sofas throughout our 30-year history. Note the red pins near the feet – it’s all about the detail.

This chair now lives in Northallerton. We reupholstered in a Linwood Fabrics weave. Arms and wings are upholstered burgundy leather. A clever combination.
